What is GDPR?The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new ,Europe-wide law that replaces the Data Protection Act 1998 in the UK. It is part of the wider package of reform to the data protection landscape that includes the Data Protection Bill.The GDPR sets out requirements for how organisations will need to handle personal data from 25th May 2018.

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.
Medical Records and Reports Administrator -Also is the smoking cessation Advisor for all three practices.

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions, dealing with prescription enquiries and paitent enquiries.
The secretaries are responsible for all the medical referrals within the practice. They assist the doctors in a range of duties connected to referring patients to specialists in community, primary or secondary care providers.
